Our 20 for 20 Alumni video series dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the University of Luxembourg continues with @Shohreh Haddadan, Applied research scientist at Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida who just finished her PhD at Uni.lu in 2022.

Which was your main campus?

Belval.

Did you learn any new languages at Uni.lu and if you did, which ones? 

Luxembourgish and French. I was already familiar with French and living and studying in Luxembourg was a good opportunity to improve my French. 

What was your favourite movie and TV/streaming series while you were a student?

"Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" and "Mad Men".

When you were not in the library (or LLC), you could be found at...

Dalmat coffee shop.

What was your favourite restaurant and bar while you were a student?

BiBim restaurant and Kufa Summer bar in Esch-sur-Alzette.

One thing that happened in Luxembourg during your student time that you still remember?

Esch-sur-alzette was chosen as the European capital of Culture in 2022 and the events around that :)
