Uni.lu Alumni in Mongolia giving back
The Luxembourg Alumni Association in Mongolia organised its second Scholarship Awards Ceremony on December 11. The ceremony took place in the presence of Axelle Nicaise, EU Delegation Ambassador to Mongolia, and with the support of the Mongolian Bankers Association.
The scholarship programme was launched as a way of giving back to the community that supported the alumni who received Luxembourg government scholarships for their masters' programmes. 11 scholarships were granted this year to local healthcare students, thanks to the joint efforts of the alumni and their partner, the Zorig Foundation.
"The scholarship not only benefits the students financially, but it will also open many doors for them," stated @Khulan Bat-Erdene, who is President of the Luxembourg Alumni in Mongolia. "We were inspired by the students' achievements, motivations, and the kind of healthcare professionals they will become, always going the extra mile. Congratulations to all the scholarship recipients!"
