Alumni Summer Party Recap

Our first Uni.lu Summer Party on 3 July was a blast! Thank you so much to over 110 of our alumni who came by even though it was raining all day long…but stopped just before the party began. Good sign, don't you think?

It was great to give our alumni an opportunity to meet and celebrate their time at the University, not only during our annual networking event, and also see everyone before we slow down for the summer.

All we do is for our community so it only made sense to give the stage during the party to our alumnus Johannes Heuschkel aka Apollon Beatbox and Uni.lu Communications Officer Hugo Dejean aka Hugo One. Johannes taught the crowd some beatboxing while Hugo performed several songs, including his original song Summer Palpitations, which he had debuted for Luxembourg’s national Eurovision selection.

Given the high demand and great attendance, we are hoping to make the summer party an annual thing. What do you think about this idea?
