Belval campus was extremely lively last Saturday, 16 March, with prospective students coming to explore the University of Luxembourg during its Open Day.

The Alumni Network also welcomed young people and their families from the region and beyond during the panel discussion "What I Know Now and What I Wish I Knew Then".

Our amazing alumni Sheena Shah, Adam Abdoellah, Maïte Franco, Shahin NEJATI, and Davide Aldo Di Ronco hosted an interactive and fun session where prospective students could find out all of the information that they can not find on the website or from the study programme brochures.

These five alumni shared their experiences at the University, what they are doing now, and what they wish they had known when they and their parents attended Open Day several years ago. From doing an Erasmus exchange to the specific study programmes, the discussion was lively and fruitful and no stone was left unturned.

"It was a pleasure to help potential future students get a feel for what it’s like to study at Uni.lu, all while reminiscing and learning about each other’s experiences!" - said Sheena. "It was interesting to retrospect on the beginning of my studies and to see again what it means to start the journey of higher education," - added Maïte.

We are extremely grateful to all of the alumni for volunteering their time and input during this Open Day!
