"What I Know Now and What I Wish I Knew Then" - Open Day Alumni Roundtable
During the University of Luxembourg's annual Open Day on 15 March 2025 on the Belval Campus, we are excited to be hosting the 3rd annual Alumni Roundtable discussion for prospective students and their parents.
Six alumni from the University will be back on campus as panelists for this interactive and fun session where prospective students will find out all of the information that they can't read about on the website, nor in the study programme brochures. The theme is “What I Know Now and What I Wish I Knew Then”. These alumni will share their experiences at the University, what they are doing now, and what they wish they had known when they and their parents attended Open Day several years ago.
In their own words:
"Excited to go back where it all started!" says Nicola Schreiner. "Can't wait to dive into all the amazing opportunities Uni.lu has to offer and share some insights I wish I knew back then."
"Open Day is where curiosity meets opportunity - take it all in and see where it leads you!" says Amin Hamidizadeh.
When talking about why should a prospective student attend Uni.lu Open Day Shashi Bhushan says: "Open up and see society open up to you. Embrace Open Day and start building strong, lasting connections that will enrich both your student journey and your professional path."
"Open Day is your gateway to new experiences, connections, and possibilities—make the most of it!" - adds Julia Gorny.
Corinne Schiltz, who was not able to attend Open Day when she was a student, adds: "I am excited to experience my first-ever Open Day at the University of Luxembourg - nearly nine years late, considering I started in 2016."
Ly Pham sums it up nicely: “Open Day is where your journey begins and memories are made.”
