The NETWORK’s four pillars are at the core of everything they do:

Events about how to negotiate your salary as a woman, financial empowerment, cross-cultural awareness, women role models, and even the regular membership meetings are all designed with those four pillars in mind.

The NETWORK’s members can be found throughout Luxembourg and include uni.lu alumni. Lisa Smits received her PhD from uni.lu in 2019, joined the NETWORK in March 2021, and is now the Membership Coordinator. She joined because of the community, saying: “In the NETWORK it is easier to speak up and it feels like everyone is in the same boat. Many of us are women at the start of our careers, and we understand each other."

The NETWORK is a founding partner of the uni.lu Alumni Network. As part of the GradPack, new graduates who join The NETWORK will enjoy their first year’s membership free of charge. "The NETWORK is an inclusive and safe environment where professional women in Luxembourg - regardless of where they are in their careers - can come together and learn from one another. I first got a taste of what the organisation was about by reporting on events in my role as a journalist; I later took the leap and joined the communications committee (right before the pandemic!) and have since expanded my professional and personal network, advanced my career and enhanced my CV, all the while spending time with wonderful, like-minded women from diverse backgrounds."
